Day 2

Day 2- Crooked Creek Ranch

We are having a blast. Cannot believe that we have only been in the magical place for 24 hours. Kids have laughed, played, ate incredible food family style, and my favorite been a kid. It's such a joy to watch students be who they are and be kids.

5 C's of Young Life

Club: Club is our once a weekly event that lets kids be kids. We give kids the opportunity to be kids again by singing, dancing, and playing crazy games. Students hear a message from the Bible in terms they can understand. YL club is for everyone, no matter where they stand in their faith.

Contact Work: Where there are high school kids there are YL leaders. We believe in earning the right to be heard by building friendships with kids. We come to their turf, whether that's sporting events standing in the stands beside them or coming up to after school and grabbing a Sonic.

Campaigners: Campaigners are small groups made up of students and a leader committed to sharing their lives, struggles, and joys with one another. Student grow deeper in their faith as they explore the Bible and God's love in a life-changing way.

Camp: Young Life states...."Camp is the best week of your life." That is a proven fact. Kids get the chance to have adventure camping at resort quality facilities and share an unforgettable experience. Kids get to leave their normal routine while they hear about and process the need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Church: Young Life is not the church. We desire our students to be a part of local a congregation. If our students are ready to go deeper we strongly encourage them to attend a local church.
